Camp care package

| Do parents prepare care package for kid going to the sleepaway camp the first time? They mention about that they are fine if parents want to drop off the package or letters with them upon drop off kids at virtual parent orientation as long as we put the kid name and the date to give the kid. What have you packed? |

| We sent one to my daughter- it had some hair things (hair bands, scrunchie, etc)because we are trying to avoid lice if possible. A magazine, some snacks (that have to be shared with the whole cabin), and a letter. |

| Some camps do not allow food so pay attention to the rules. SInce they mentioned it you can assume parents will do it and you should as well. Glow sticks are fine. Small stuffed animal Letter of course. We used to send some jokes to share with friends. |

I'm sending some glow sticks. Also things they could use for spirit days - like face paint.
