Does anyone except Cuomo have a real chance at winning? Kind of disturbing. |
Hope not. He's funded by the same people as Trump and he's almost as rapey too. |
Mamdani |
I think you mean you hope so! |
Adrienne Adams
Speaker of the New York City Council I really like her. She was stellar in the mayoral debate, concise and stayed on topic within the time limit when answering questions. She’s sharp and has already tackled many issues. The boys were measuring their dicks. Wish people would watch debates. Mamdani is too far left, too focused on Israel/Palestine, pie in the sky policies. Now is not the time for an experimental NYC. Cuomo is a ball scratcher, no doubt. But his governorship is relevant. |
Everyone else in the race is better than Mamdani and better than Cuomo. It’s a damn shame that they’re the only ones with traction.
If Mamdani wins the nomination Cuomo is going to run on another party line in the general so it will be Mamdani/Cuomo/Adams/Sliwa. All terrible. |
|
Perhaps it's time for New Yorkers to reconsider their allegiance to the Democratic Party.
There really isn't a decent candidate among the Democratic contenders. Seems as if the voters in NY want things to hit rock bottom before they think about their voting choices. |
Indeed. |
Maybe they want to hit rock bottom. Rebuild post destruction? |
If Mamdani wins the decline will be fast and hard. Maybe that is what needs to happen. And all democrats running will be tied to him since few have expressed opposition to him. |
Because he is great. People need to get used to the future of America. I’d be more worried about republicans that have tied themselves to the trump anchor if I were you. |
He’s not “great.” He is a socialist bordering on a communist. That is far from great. In fact, the opposite of great. |
He would try to increase some benefits for all residents like free buses. I’ll take that over the cruelty of the president any day. Read the upcoming tax bill and honestly answer whether you think that’s so great. The city has gone down under Eric Adams. Adams succeeded at nothing. It can only go up from here. No one needs to be so fearful of the “socialist” word. Most of the well run peaceful countries are a mix of democracy, capitalism and socialism. |
Oh no. It can sink much further. Elect him and you’ll see. He doesn’t want a “mix.” He wants full blown socialism. He has even said it. |
