The Iraq war cost Americans $3 Trillion dollars

Anonymous
and took the lives of 3,942 American soldiers and spanned 9 long years.

The premise of the war was based on faulty intelligence that Iraq had WMD's (Yellow cake, chemical weapons etc.), intelligence much of which came from Israel.

Iran is a country of 90 million people, with lots mountainous terrain like Afghanistan that is half the size of Europe. Just do the math.

Russia and China (border countries) are salivating for us to get bogged down in Iran while they supply weapons to the Iranians in a long decades war with the U.S.

Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya.

Over 8 trillion spent on wars in the Middle East.

What did America get?

- Espionage
- Millions of illegals
- Erosion of freedoms
- Debt in the tens of TRILLIONS
- The crumbling of our inner cities
- Suicide epidemic of servicemen
- Israeli / Epstein blackmail operations

Etc

Lol, I remember when bush said it would only take like 2 weeks and cost like $50B.

They were only off by a cool 100000000%.

Whatever Trump says the war will cost, multiply it by 200x, at least.

Iran will be 30-40 year slog and cost well over $10-20T in a never ending black hole of stupidity.

Hey but at least Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and all those defense contractors and Zionists will be happy.

If only Iran was working to go nuclear. There is no evidence or claim that they are.

Thanks for reminding us.

Right after DOGE laid off, in the nastiest way possible, tens of thousands of federal workers, and cut funding to critical biomedical research, etc.

The GOP's tax cuts will already cost us that much... add Iran war and double

We lost 4,500 soldiers in Iraq

All that on behalf of Netanyahu and the war machine. Looks like we're never going to learn from our mistakes.

That would be the end of us.

Ground war in Iran would be a logistical nightmare and stupid.

If we absolutely have to go to war (and I don't think we do) then how about instead, we just do a decapitation strike and let the Iranians take care of the rest. And if that doesn't work, another decapitation strike, until they get it right. There are a lot of good Iranian people, given a chance they can manage to get it together.

Iran is 4 times bigger in term of land, very mountainous and twice the population of Iraq. Also Iraq will have to be retaken.

This time no Coalition of the willing or Arab nation help.

Remember, the Republicans have no issue with putting us in hock for trillions just to give their billionaire donors tax cuts.
