HS grad gift certificate: Door dash? Uber eats? Something else?

For a niece headed to U Delaware. What's the best cash-equivalent gift card to get for a recent high school grad?

TIA.

I say Amazon or Starbucks.

Ask her mom which delivery app your niece uses. Or find out what eateries are on or near campus - especially ones that don’t take the school’s dining dollars and therefore would be out of pocket. Or just go with Amazon or Target.

I stock up on Uber/Uber Eats gift cards at Costco. Theyve come in very handy and always seem very appreciated.

I can't speak about Delaware specifically, but most of the food places on college campuses do NOT take gift cards. (Chick Fil A, Chipotle, etc.) They are like the airport locations -- operated by Aramark. So don't assume she'll be able to use a gift card at the campus location.

I'd vote either Amazon or check/cash. (I know you said no cash, but sometimes it's the best thing.) The kids at school will probably do Venmo also.

Container store. We found great stuff for the dorm there but it can be a bit pricey (compared to Target). We had fun shopping online, but you could go in person too.

We did Uber / Uber Eats. Versatile, can be used for transportation or food! Amazon is another popular choice, or kid got several and they came in handy for him ordering stuff mid-semester

Just give cash, even if it's a VISA gift card.
