| The grade weight is online 60%, midterm exam 20%, and Final exam 20%. Unlike Algebra 1 HN (10% Final exam), in summer Geometry HN exams have 40% of grade weight! |

What were you expecting? They have fewer weeks to teach the material and test the material. The midterm and finals are the only in person evaluations that they have, they are going to be weighted more because they are the only exams that the teacher knows the students did the work. Welcome to summer school. |

| A year of geometry honors being done is just under 6 weeks. After first 3 weeks have midterms and then final at end. What did you expect. I’m surprised there is anything graded but the 2 tests. |

| Course description says 90 minute class and students to then do in addition, 6-7 hours of self study- reason many here say only kids who love love love math should take or those that already took the class at a different math center and are really only taking class to verify the credit as not being taught geometry and only signing up to be able to take test to move on from it. |

Ignore them. Post what you want. Summer geometry is a regular post on this board. They are cramming a years worth of material into 6 weeks so it works differently. They are going to weight the in person exams heavier then they normally would because it is the only time that they can test that kids are taking the tests and doing their work themselves. |
