What the war hawks dont understand about a U.S. war with Iran

Iran is half the size of Europe - the 2D geographic maps are very decieving about its size. It's very mountainous similar to Aghanistan and hard to conquer. Gaza is a tiny spec of flat terrian and Israel has yet to fully conquer it.

Iran has the ability to shut down all oil flows coming out of the persian/arabian gulf. It can strike all of Saudi's oil facilities and shut over 20% of the worlds oil production. They can bloackade ships from entering the Red Sea. U.S. involement would be a red line for them.

There is no such thing as the U.S. striking Iran and walking away scotch free without retaliation on U.S. bases and personal which will inevitably drag the U.S. into a long drawn out war once U.S. personal are harmed.

We WILL (1000%) end up being dragged into a boots on the ground war if we strike Iran.

Air superiority means absolutely nothing if the locals on the ground are constantly harrasing U.S. assets, merchant and oil ships in the region.

Vietnam was initially touted to be short war.
Iraq and Afghanistan were initially touted to be a short war.
We are falling into the same trap.

Bibi and Trump did this to help Russia and hurt Ukraine. Russia was having serious problems with low oil prices. Now the money is flowing in, no one is watching Russia and Russia can rebuild its armies for a European invasion.

Israel has not just calling for all Iranians but all Palestinians too. Meanwhile, only one of them is actually carrying out a genocide successfully.

Israel is like that one friend you love but hate to go out with because inevitably they get too drunk and start a bar fight you had no interest in getting involved in. they mouthed off to the wrong person at the bar, took a swing and now need backup or else they are going to take a beating. You find yourself constantly wondering why you stay friends with them and it’s not until you finally get pushed to far that you end the friendship, it’s sad, you miss the friend but realize this person was never really your buddy to begin with because what kind of friend puts their friends in these situations. Time for a breakup indeed.
