| In a previous thread someone said there was a hack to not order every item in a team kit. The supposed hack was not shared. Does anyone know if this can be done? |
| I have always done a la carte ordering for every team kit - soccer.com and cappelli. You just only put the items in the cart that you want from the kit page w/your kid’s name/# |
| It's all dependent on how your club sets up their team store within soccer.com. Not controlled by soccer.com at all. Club can list items are "required" but still give you option to add them to your cart or skip. Or club can make it that required items have to be added to cart in order to checkout. |
| OK thanks in the required items tab you cannot add anything to the cart until at least one of everything is selected. I guess the only hack is having a club that doesn't "require" everything. |
Try calling, maybe the customer service person can send the order through without everything. |
| yes it can be done. when you get to the final page or cart right before the payment, you can remove items. Then proceed to the payment. |
This is the most correct answer in the thread. Note that a particular club may even do this differently in different years, so one year you can drop everything into your cart and then remove items, and two years later, you can't remove items from your cart. |
It doesn't allow me to remove the required items from the cart. |
| Order all of the required items, then immediately call customer service and cancel which items you do not want. Only way to work around it. Or find a player with the same number on a team that has the same kit but not required to buy it all. |
| Have you tried just asking the club? I did this a few years ago when soccer.com wouldn’t let me check out without the track jacket and pants that we didn’t need. I asked the TD if there was a way around this and he did something to remove the items I didn’t want to purchase from the required list. They had no issue doing this for us. |
