I wanted to buy a pair of shoes for my son but the sellers rating was 97% but recently reviews mentioned they sent the wrong items or places stickers on the item itself.
What reviews or rating levels for sellers do you avoid? |
Ebay? In 2025?! |
100% for a big seller probably. For a small seller with something rare if all the reviews were good except for one that tanked the score, I might not care. You have the answer OP, multiple bad reviews. Older good reviews may be because they offered a gift or discount for a good review or they replaced the item to get a good review. I would avoid. |
People still buy on eBay? |
In addition to the ratings, I also look at their return policy. If they don’t take returns and have some recent negative reviews, I won’t buy from them. If they accept returns and there’s only one recent negative review, or just a few over several months, I’d probably take a chance on them. It also depends on what happened and how the seller has responded to the negative review. |
Yes, why wouldn't they? I just bought a book needed for school on eBay bc it was cheaper than Amazon. |
Of course. Are you stupid or something? What a strange question. |
It depends on the price of the shoes. Are these designer collectible sneakers for an investment or a simple pair of shoes for every day use? |
98% if a large high volume seller, 99-100% smaller seller |
