If your DC got into Notre Dame, Michigan, UVA or Vanderbilt this year, did he/she take Calc BC?

It probably depends on the major.

Yes - accepted to UVA oos and Vandy. Did not apply to the others. Arts and sciences, non-stem major.

Op here. This is would likely be for pre med. not engineering or computer science or other science field.

UVA is very different from the rest of these schools.

Has people’s experience been that pre med is treated like the other STEM majors in this regard?

Trying to chart out my rising sophomores math progression.

Pay no attention to that poster. UVA is a trigger school on DCUM. Obviously UVA (especially OOS) is a peer of all of these schools admissions wise.

yale and princeton, among others. had very very good ECs. and solid GPA and solid test sores. but it was about ECs
