Anyone from DMV area planning to hit any games up in DC, Philly, NY/NJ or NC?

DC got pretty crappy teams but major European and South American teams will be on the other eastern seaboard locations

If you are not excited for the Al Ain game at Audi field, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe try baseball?

Exhibit A of why soccer is a business in this country. Nobody cares about a team like Al Ain.

I got the DAZN subscription. Other than the 10-0 match, even if we don't know the teams the games have been entertaining.

FYI The games are available for free no subscription needed on DAZN app. The passion on display in the Boca v Benefica game was a sign of hope that this could get good!

Unless you live in England, Spain, France, Argentina or Brazil and catch league and cup games regularly this is pretty awesome! Go ahead and sleep on this money grab. True first 11’s are playing and fans though not filling stadiums, yet, have been fun to watch too. I think stadiums will start to fill once we get past the group stage and the Al- teams and Oceania teams are out; and prices become more reasonable.

Yes the next round will have so good games. Remember the Clubs really want to win this. It’s a lot of money. If a MLS club makes the next round it is a game changer.

Group stage: Clubs receive $2 million for a win and $1 million for a tie
Round of 16: Clubs receive an additional $7.5 million
Quarter-final: Clubs receive an additional $13.125 million
Semi-final: Clubs receive an additional $21 million
Finalist: Clubs receive an additional $30 million
Winner: The winning team receives a minimum of $130.4 million and a maximum of $155.8 million, depending on their region.

Translation: I’m entitled and cheap.

This tournament is garbage. FIFA isn’t capable of shame, but if it were, it would be ashamed of putting it on.
