Home Depot aka “Mouse Depot” - (Westlake) Bethesda, MD

Absolutely disgusting experience yesterday afternoon at the Home Depot in Westfield. Mice everywhere: saw one sprint across the floor back by the garden tools area. Another shopper warned me almost everything in the back had droppings on it. She was trying on garden gloves and said, “Use gloves; there’s poop on everything.” Buyer beware

Grocery stores would probably have you turning over in your grave. Especially the ones where you serve yourself from the bulk containers.

Did you post pics of the mouse droppings on their social media? That would guarantee an instant response, OP!

Op you would last one day on The Walking Dead.

Yup. I am in silver spring and just drive to Lowe's in new Carrollton now. So much better and cleaner and more things.

Saw a mouse one evening at the Giant on Rockville Pike scurry along the cereal shelves. I told an employee. He didn’t care.

The mice are an organic local high protein snack.

As rampant as lice apparently are in the Health subforum around DC, I am not surprised of mice infestations in the least.

With old buildings it normal.

Aren’t the garden sections of home improvement stores outside, or basically outside/right by the entrances? It’s no surprise there’s mice. They need to get a few cats!

A terrier dog or even a snake would be preferrable to a dirty diseased cat. Toxoplasmosis.

I saw a mouse in the cereal aisle at the Rockville Whole Foods. That seems to be much worse than Home Depot!

Ewwwww. OP here, it was INSIDE the Home Depot near the bird seeds. Ick

Mice and rats are everywhere. Get over it. It was Hone Depot, not Morton’s.

Great advice. Let about 5 Pit Bulls & about 10 of those Florida pythons loose in every Home Depot. Mouse problem would disappear quickly, & most customers would be happy.
