AC temp when no one is home?

We are gone for work about 12 hours a day. How much should we bump the temp while we are gone? 5 degrees?

I set mine to 81-82. Our house cools quickly.

You set it for humidity not temperature.

This. Or get a dehumidifier that kicks on based on the hygrometer reading. We do this and it's especially good for the shoulder seasons (keeps house from getting mold/moldy smells).

80. Our house cools quickly and we live in the SW with zero humidity. We keep it around. 73-74 when we’re there. 68 at night.
