and I'm a nervous wreck. We recently retired and moved into our retirement home on eastern shore so we priced our Gaithersburg MD home competitively hoping it will go fast, cross fingers.
What I'm wondering is, is there an advantage to joining any of these real estate websites like zillow, or redfin, or realtor? Does joining tell me anything more than I can already see online without joining? |
| What additional information would you be expecting to see on there? |
| No, doesn’t tell you anything. |
IDK, that's why I asked. |
Thanks! |

Are you using a real estate agent? If yes, your home should appear on those sites as a current listing.
Your agent will provide you information about showings etc. If you priced it competitively, you likely already know the comps in the area. What other info do you need from those sites that isn’t available to anyone who visits the site (ie why do you have to register)? |
| We sold recently so I understand your nerves. Good luck to you! |
| Good luck! |
I guess that is what I am asking. If I register, do I see additional info that others can't see. Our agent hooked us up with home.showingtime so we get notified when someone wants to view it. I see on all zillow and redfin sites show # of views, zillow shows saves and realtor shows favorites. But all 3 sites have different numbers. Redfin shows the highest # of views which must also include the "coming soon" views. |

woo-hoo
We got a full price offer...which is quite amazing actually as we live in one of MoCos worst HS districts. But it's a terrific small neighborhood. |
Great news! |
Thanks, There is hope in this slowing market as it seemed the houses competing most with us took 3 weeks. But we listed 15K under the most recent sale in our hood...2 years ago (small neighborhood of about 40 homes) |
| Congrats!! |
