I am really curious to hear peoples thoughts on this matter
|
| There’s no way in heck I’d ever drive a Subaru so bmw. |
|
Obviously a BMW eye
-Subaru driver |
| I used to own a BMW, dh has a Subaru. If you have alot of money, definitely the BMW. The cost of repairs is atrocious though. I wouldn’t get one again. I don’t particularly care for the Subaru though. I just bought a Mazda and I like that over the Subaru. |
| You mean the cheapest BMW vs the most expensive Subaru? That would be about the same pricewise. But you are the only person on earth who is cross shopping these two brands |
| Subaru babes it gets the job done and gets it done right. |
| I have a Subaru. My mom has a BWI. It's nice but too high, the trunk is not deep enough and I don't have a garage to put one in. So Subaru it is and I'm happy it's my second in 15 years and it's a workhorse. |
| Subaru for safety and reliability. BMW for status. Period |
|
Apples and oranges.
I may go Subaru for the manual transmission. |
|
Subaru! Maintenance free and you can drive it into the ground…and in ice, snow, rain, off roading!
I have a Crosstrek and an Outback (given to young adult DC) and drive a Lexus SUV. Had a choice recently between used Lexus and BMW and chose wisely. |
|
You couldn't pay me to drive a BMW.
|
| The one you can afford without taking on debt. |
|
I feel like these are totally opposite.
I have a 2017 Subaru Forrester and it is great. Will likely buy another Subaru when I replace it. I see BMW's as kind of embarrassing and I wouldn't drive one, but I lived through the 80s so I see them as cars-for-dicks. If I were to spend money on a luxury car (which I can understand, especially here in the DMV in the land of long-ass commutes) it wouldn't be a BMW. |
| 2 of the most undesirable cars on the road with the worst stereotypes for drivers ever. |
You may not like them but they're hardly undesirable. BMW broke their own US sales record last year and were just the top selling luxury brand globally. |
