Getting to Rockville from Nationals Park late at night on a weekday

There's a big K-pop concert at Nationals Park on Monday the 23rd that my kids are going to. I'd like them to come home by metro (green line to red line) But it seems they'd need to catch the metro by 11:40 and I'm not sure they'll get out by then.

What are other good, safe options? I imagine picking them up will be a madhouse of traffic, and likewise, getting a Lyft might not be so easy. Still, I'm starting to think a Lyft is the best back-up option if they miss the last metro.

I think you're probably fine with metro. Outdoor concerts have to follow the noise ordinance in DC and generally that is 11 PM.
