Baby Gate for DC Row Home Stairs

Looking for something

1) Safe
2) Easy to operate one handed
3) Easy to Install
4) Aesthetically pleasing

We used various Cardinal brand gates. Always hardware-mounted and in some spots used their wooden brackets if there were suitable banisters. For the bottom of the stairs we had to use a super wide multi-panel wrap around contraption- not esthetically pleasing but when you have twins walking at 9.5 months as we did, priority shifts.
I know a lot of folks get pressure gates to work for them but I just wasn’t convinced they could withstand the double attack lol.
