We matched into one and received an offer off of the waitlist for the other. Our primary concern is maintaining and growing her Spanish language. But we also wonder about the experience in elementary school overall.

BM will probably have more native Spanish speakers if that is important to you.

Do you plan on staying in DC into MS? Which MV?

I had to make this choice years ago and chose MV. We are Spanish speakers and we have been happy with our decision. However, how is your commute? BM and MV P St are not closed at all.

We live between the 2 schools, but closer to MV. It’s about 15mins walking.

Then how is this a choice - walkable and a preference for an acceptable middle. Most HHI families leave BM by late elementary. You have the option to skip that difficult transition.
