Stopping junk mail

First-world problem, but we receive an insane amount of junk mail, particularly credit card offers. I've gone the usual routes of dmachoice.org, OptOutPrescreen.com, and CatalogChoice.org, but it continues. If you've had success reducing your landfill waste, could you please share with me how you achieved it?

How long ago did you do the opt out pre-screen? It's only good for 5 years unless you do it for a lifetime.

I tried to do this for my mother because she gets duped by requests for donations. It's extremely hard. Those places make money selling their lists. They don't care about opt-outs.

I emailed the companies where I was getting it the most.

We moved countries.

Everytime you use those sites, they sell your info to others and you get even more junk mail!
Surprised people still don't know they are data-mining sites.
