Constant filming in public driving me insane

| Getting very annoyed with all the influencers that hijack yoga classes, run clubs, church and other public places to film other people. Same with the kids making TikTok’s on the metro with other people in the background. I could care less if they’re like in the back of class and just film themselves but not everyone wants to be recorded constantly when they’re living their lives. Feel like this is new in the last two years or so - I don’t have a problem being posted on socials at a wedding or formal event but I feel like recording random strangers and their kids is so overstepping |

It's not just the influencers.
I got into a fender bender in a parking lot this week, no damage to either car, and a woman all the way across the parking lot started filming us. Walked right over, phone up in the air aimed at us. Wanting some kind of altercation to happen or something. You can't leave your house anymore without an expectation of being filmed. |

Not 16 at all. And not "influencer-ish" at all either. She was probably late 40s, and ... I don't know how to put this ... scraggly looking? Like someone you'd find in Walmart at 10pm. I didn't talk to her. The other driver and I agreed there was no damage and I got in my car and left as she was walking towards us. Then in my rearview mirror I could see her talking to the guy from the other car. It was weird. |

If you want to be really petty, copyright your likeness and imagery; you could win some easy settlements that way if you ask nicely first and they dont take it doqn. You can say "my repuation has been damaged being featured in such a vulgar video, argue emotional damage", im half joking but seriously you probably could win a suit |

There is no expectation of privacy in public, and you’d lose any lawsuit. Anyone is allowed to record you in public and there is nothing you can do to stop it. |

| IA. I know there’s no expectation of privacy in public but the technology has changed and I think the rules haven’t kept pace. All the filming with people caught in the background but also taking pictures and videos of people and posting them. Someone took a video from their apartment window of pre-teens play fighting and posted it saying “if this were my son, I’d want to know…” It’s just too much, we can’t exist anymore. We were all taught 1984 in class and yet the messages escaped so many. |
