Hexclad class action suit and settlement

Anonymous
I got a 13 piece Hexclad set by mailorder late 2022 to upgrade my random cookware. It was about $600. I was happy except the larger pans are SOOOO HEAVY! I still eorry they will be too much to hold in my 80s.

Anyway today I got an email about a class action suit. Was suspicious but seemed legit. Basically Hexclad made a big deal about its clean nonstick features but does allegedly have PFAS or something in it.

If I get enough I might but a different set, checking it out in person for weight this time.

Here is a link to the settlement info

Nobody else bought it? I am going for a warranty refund. Not fit for purpose.

I received a notice as well. I actually returned my purchase shortly after my purchase (larger than expected). I also bought a small 8" outside the eligible window and it's been going strong for several years.

My pans look fine. But do not meet their advertised health and safety claims. I filed for replacement with new ceramic lined pans or refund.
