Paris catacombs

If you went very recently did you get in at time of your ticket, earlier, on time? My ds and his friend got tickets cutting it very close to their train. Ideally they’d go early but not sure that’s possible. If late then they won’t be able to do it.

They were strict about the timing. No one was getting in early. You can't stand in the main line until it's the correct time to be next.

Was it on time though? Even a 30 mins delay would be bad.

We got in on time. Lines were formed based on your ticket time. We did get in line about 15-20 minutes early, so were toward the front and entered right at our chosen time. The catacombs itself took about 45 minutes plus, then we spent about 15 minutes in the little gift shop. There's only one entrance and exit and they are not at the same place...the exit is about 10 minutes away from the entrance. Hope that helps.

And it’s self guided. So if you want to do it all quickly, you can do that. They’ll let you in right at the time on the tickets.

We visited in April. You book a time slot that I believe is 30 mins (or whenever the next group is booked for times tix)
