Is it common to have a screen like screen eze and withdows like ezebreeze for screened in decks or do folks just go with one or the other? Having both is really increasing it costs.
Pros and cons of one over the other? We’ re trying to build a 3 season room and it won’t have any additional heaters. |
We have the regular insect type screen on our and like it for the most part. I think the only downside is that the pollen gets through so we have to completely clean everything at the end of spring every year. |
We have a screened in covered porch and it’s lovely. I did not like the look of either ez breeze or sun space. It made it feel too enclosed plus they were $$. But I could not deal with the pollen, and it gets pretty dusty too. So we installed roll up screen covers.
https://www.porchenclosuresystems.com/ Cheaper than the other options, and also means we can use the space longer into the year, as it holds heat in. |
I'm not sure I understand your question. Our Sunspace windows came in a single unit for each section with the screen and (removable) windows.
I think if you just get screens that is not related to EZ or Sunspace. It's just screening material. |
Op here. Great. I did not realize sunscape came with screens attached. That would be perfect. We like having the windows up when needed but letting in the breeze during the spring and fall without having to deal with the bugs. |
We used to have ezebreeze and only used them for keeping out rain. We realized we didn’t want to sit in a stuffy vinyl box, which is what it felt like when they were up. Such a waste. |
PP here. Screens are essential. On our new screen pouch, we only have screens. No ezebreeze. |
