Any logistical advice from those who attended 2025 UMBC graduations?

Getting to the parking lots for last year's graduation was a nightmare.
Have they done a better job this year with traffic flow? |

| We went last year and it was a breeze. What time did you get there? We were there at 7:30 for a 9 am graduation. |

Critical thing we didn't do- arrange in advance where you will meet your kid outside when it is over. It was chaos out there and we had a hard time finding our grad.
Other than that, it really wasn't bad. |

Students were asked to arrive at 7:30. There was a 5 minute traffic delay at that time. Parking was easy.
Only issue was leaving. I picked a bad spot, and we were stuck in the parking lot for 15-20 minutes. Try to to find a spot that has easy access to the road. Other family arrived at 8:45 for 9 AM commencement, parked elsewhere and were out within a few minutes. |

| We had an afternoon ceremony last year for WJ (a large school) and it was an hour each to enter and exit the parking lots. I’d arrive early and study a parking lot map to figure out best way in and out. |

Get there early. 8 am is good. There is security directing traffic.
Meet your kid in front of Tom’s coffee truck. We stayed till noon for pictures. Leaving was a breeze. We had lunch a Arundal mills. |
