Help Me: Do You Remember This?

Anonymous
There was an episode on a comedy TV show where characters were flying somewhere — one or some got to sit in first class and the others had to stay back in the regular cabin. The joke was something like, “once you go in front of the curtain…you can’t go behind the curtain.”

I thought it was Seinfeld but it doesn’t seem that way (I googled). I hope someone else remembers this. The specific quote above doesn’t bring up anything so it must not be exact.

Help before we go crazy! We know this is not a false memory.

Sounds like Seinfeld to me. I can picture the cadence when he says the joke. Maybe this episode?

Are you sure it wasn’t Seinfeld? The one where he was saying once you fly in first class you can’t go back to coach?

This one?

Was it the parents and tacky uncle in Home Alone with the kids out back?

Yes! I will have to watch the whole show to see if he actually says that particular line (or something close to it) or maybe we just made up the joke ourselves after watching the show!

Thanks to everyone for weighing in!
