| My favorite quote is the famous Dr. Seuss quote, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened". That quote resonated with my life so much that I have a tattoo of it. Well. DD (13) has been going around the house these past few days singing a song that goes "Don't smile because it happened, baby, cry because it's over". This has to be targeted, right? I mean, what a weird thing to put in a song! My daughter has quite normal music taste, so I can only imagine her singing such a lyric to, as the kids would say, throw shade at me. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid, LOL. What do you think? |
| Sabrina carpenter. Nothing to do with you. |

Ask her.
And if she's poking fun at your tattoo, well, that's what teens do. She's not being mean. You can always ask her to stop. Separately, you need to grow a thicker skin. Teens can, and will, do much nastier and more dangerous things that that. |
Your license to parent a teen is suspended for taking a situation too personally and for not Googling. If you fix the problem and appear in court, you will be let off with a warning. |

They're lyrics to a Sabrina Carpenter song. You didn't even google search it?

| Don’t let you’re daughter become a bully |
Are you saying daughter instead of DD because the daughter isn’t daring or dear anymore? |
| You need espresso |
| Maybe she is poking fun what’s wrong with that some people need to be bullied |
| OP here can you all be more clear |
I am the OP you’re not OP |
This is crazy because I am the OP |
My guess is that a troll is having fun gleefully wrecking havoc and none of these are the OP |
| Don't be a manchild. |
Me espresso. |
