| I couldn't help but notice that the activity level went down once we finally got the volleyball forum. Maybe some folks still need to discover it, maybe some folks unfamiliar with the sport get less exposure to information about it. Do you have any ideas about how to best organize our new playground? Shall we create a thread for each club, where current players / parents can answer questions / share information? Should we create a separate Metro vs. Paramount thread, where people can gossip about how bad coaching is at Metro and how coaches yell at Paramount players? Maybe a thread for top-performing clubs, where the discussion can go on and on about who got bids and whose bids are better? It would be nice to isolate these topics from the rest, otherwise they pop up on every random thread. |

| It will get much less traffic. We are a basketball family and the Basketball forum is practically dead. I wish the separation never happened. |

| Some clubs are going to Nationals so those families cannot gossip about their clubs until their club commitments are over. Lol. I’m sure this forum will get more active after club season has officially ended. |

I wouldn't mind gossiping about our club if anyone asks questions. Even though the top teams are still getting ready for the nationals, the season is over for most other teams. I can gossip about other clubs as well based on our experience with leagues and clinics. |

You have an interesting idea about a separate thread for each club. This could provide valuable information for families and keep things organized, especially with tryouts in the fall. I didn’t know some teams existed and it could have been helpful for DD when she was starting out.
BUT we need to be really careful, if we do this, and report threads that discuss specific players and respect the privacy of minors. We need to be careful things don’t get nasty with the kids. |

I was happy to see if just to find the volleyball info in one spot.
Girls vs Boys thread would be helpful in my view as boys is so limited. |
