Hi there,
My daughter is currently a sophomore in an FCPS high school. This year, she decided to take regular precalc instead of AP, which means she must take Calc AB first before BC. We know that BC would be a repeat of AB with some additional units, so we were trying to see what other options there are for her so that she can just take BC next year. FCPS does not offer AP precalculus as a summer course. Do any families have any similar experiences and is there a way to take the class over the summer for FCPS to accept the credit?
Thanks

Yes, I realized I put it in the wrong forum but not sure how to change it. Might just repost. She already took base level precalc this year as a sophomore. As there are two different precalc tracks, she is set to take AB calc junior year and BC senior year. However, BC is just a repeat of AB with a few extra units, so she wants to take BC next year.

In the base level class she will finish with a high A (96/97) she did not speak to her teacher about it because there is no fcps summer course for it that they offer so I am wondering if anyone has similar experiences where FCPS gave credit/ if there is a way she can still take BC next year?
