Meeting LD date for the first time date ideas?

Wondering what could be a nice date idea. A guy I've been talking to about a year long distance is flying in soon to hang out. His friends are meeting him here later. What could be a date idea or something nice to do for him hours after he lands? He's younger than me but we like the same things. This will also be my first date with someone in a very long time. I'm picky/ don't prioritize dating much (working on it). Ideas please? He's 32. I'm older.

Invite him to your place! That’s where we always ended up after reuniting when I was in a long distance relationship or a hotel and where some sexy lingerie. Then grab something to eat. Being alone after long distance is the best and I bed they are looking forward to it.

Guy here: if you’ve been talking long distance for a long time, but not spent much time in person, you should pick something where you can be physically together for a lot of time without a lot of distraction. Outdoor walk/picnic lunch? You don’t want to end up in a bar or restaurant where you can barely hear each other talk, and “just come to my place” could carry a pretty strong suggestion you’re just going to bed right away.
