How often do you get Botox?

I got Botox for the first time recently. My injector told me to make my next appointment for 4 months out. I’m about 2.5 months out and I can already see it wearing off. I’m not sure if I should reschedule my appointment for sooner. Is it bad to get it done again so soon? Maybe at 3 months?
When do you notice your Botox wearing off and how often do you get it done? |

| Depends. Anywhere between 3-6 months. |

| I get mine done about every 4 months. I have stretched it to 6 but prefer the shorter interval. |

| My friend who has a med spa and did mine for first time said 4 months for me (I got the minimal amount she would do to make it worth it). It’s definitely wearing off, but I think I could stretch it to 6 months and still be happy with it. |

| Dont do it too frequently or you can get facial muscle atrophy that ages your appearance. If you are in your 30s or younger I would suggest no more than twice a year. |

Every 4 months. Even when it wears off (yeah, around 2.5 months), my muscles have atrophied a bit and I don't have the frown lines I did originally. So basically the botox is training me to stop using my 11s.
Side note- has anyone been able to get rid of bunny lines on their nose? (not the horizontal line on the tip of my nose, the angled lines higher up on the bridge of my nose). I've had so many providers over the years try and it's never worked once. I get a combo of daxxify and dysport. Dysport wasn't stiff enough for my 11s. I just don't need them to ever move there, whereas I like movement in the rest of my face. |

Go to a good cosmetic derm, not a medspa. I just learned over the weekend that nearly every 'Everbody' in the region has closed. Lots of people with packages that they have to go downtown to logan circle to use (until that one closes I guess). Always seemed a little scammy like skinspirit and laseraway. |

Read the articles. This is why you don't get Botox or any other injectable at a medspa or anywhere other than a reputable cosmetic derms office. When was the last time you heard of something like this happening where the suspect wasn't some very shady 'med-spa' or worse. |
