Summer track & field ?

DC tried spring track and really liked it. He’s a sophomore.
He’s interested in keeping up with it this summer.
It looks like AAU clubs are a thing, and I see one in Springfield called VA House of Speed. Also, St James has some summer programs.
Anyone have any experiences with these programs, or others?

Spartan Chosen is also in Springfield.

AAU is fun and they get good coaching. It is more for sprinters than for distance running
