What if you get a bad reference

I had an interview and it went great!!! Hiring manager basically said he wanted to hire me and sent me a start date.

HR asked for references-they asked for 3-I gave 4….what if someone gives me a bad review? My one manager and I didn’t get along exactly

Then don't use her for a reference.

Yah, contact your references first and get vibes. But now, since you've already provided them, at least contact them.
