This site suggests colleges based on standardized scoring. Here it shows schools that might be suitable for a student with a 34 ACT, for example:

| Stats |
| Stats has to be considered in the context of your high school. All these free websites are not linked to your high school data, thus it's not meaningful. |
| Your high school's naviance coupled with insight from your school's counselor about that data. |

| You can try CollegeVine but with a grain of salt. I think it's too optimistic. |
Agree. Ask a counselor if your kid can get an early log-in. |

Interesting. It was way too pessimistic in my son’s case, but that just confirms your “grain of salt” caution. As others have suggested, Naviance, Scoir, etc. are going to give you a better idea than some generic site. |

There are several. Don't bet the farm on what they say.
Just understand that if your school average is 1430 then your 1500 not special. This is a huge problem for kids at top public schools. It is for privates as well but many of them have the full pay advantage. |
My kid is in 7th grade and already getting emails about using Naviance, I would imagine that the OPs kid should already have access. |
