Summer foot skills clinics?

Anonymous
Looking for a summer foot skills clinic for my mid-tier travel U-little. Hoping for Arlington or McLean. Not looking for the intensity of false 8. Also not looking for the capstone model where you have to build your own small group. Thanks for any thoughts!

My kids and their friends prefer Golden Boot, which has sessions in McLean.

I recommend just hiring a private coach.

Ugh people said Coerver was good but it was mediocre. Just another overly hot outdoor chaotic soccer camp. I didn’t see anything special. Any intel on other camps???

How old is your kid? Look to hire ECNL/ MLSN player in HS age to work with your kids.

Trying not to pay private coach prices, ideally…

I like HP Elite for my kid, especially during the summer.

This. For the summer other beats HP. It's indoors. Sells drinks. Plus, kids get plenty of touches on the ball.

Great idea! How do you go about advertising for this?

Understood.

But you may want to consider private coaches can focus on fundamentals and zero in on correcting mistakes. Coaches/instructors are not likely to stop to correct mistakes during group practices/lessons. Paying for private lessons first to teach the correct basics would probably save you money in the long run.

There are programs that offer futsal training in the summer. That’s what my kids have always done to work on their foot skills

Do you have any names of programs? I have only found Vienna’s futsal league which doesn’t work for our schedule.
