Where do I get a good range hood with external/remote blower?

We're embarking on a kitchen remodel and will convert to gas range; for safety, will also install a range hood that meets all the requirements. 30 inch stove so hood has to be 36 inches wide and deep enough to cover all the burners (so 25 or so inches). We also want an external blower because the models we tried in store were so loud there is no way we could actually use them day-to-day. This seems to be incredibly hard to search for. I see on this forum that Broan, Zephyr, and Ventahood are good brands...but when I look on those websites I'm not seeing good options with external/remote blower to reduce sound right over stove. What is the secret? (I'm hoping there is one and this is doable for around $1000.)
