“This is not the first time that ICE has been on the Vineyard. Last September the agency said it arrested a Salvadoran man who was wanted for “crimes against humanity” and a Brazilian man wanted for international drug trafficking.”

Nobody had identified any of the migrants picked up when Fox Mews wrote that. Two criminals were arrested during Biden’s presidency. Back when the priority was finding the criminals. Under Trump they just stopped all the workers around 7:30 am who were in work trucks. 40 men working in construction and hospitality. They brought the FBI because Massachusetts police can only help when they are pursuing a named criminal.

WHy would they want to? Although a few stayed, they didn’t have the services needed at Martha’s Vineyard to apply for citizenship so it’s not clear what happened with them. The majority voluntarily left with the help of the residents and many were successful in getting Visas.

It's not like Martha's Vineyard has all sorts of extra housing or jobs. Where exactly would they sleep? On the beach? How would that work when it is -10 in the winter?
