My DS missed tryouts due to injury and is unsure he wants to stay with his current team. Does anyone know if any teams in the Alexandria/Arlington/Annandale/Fairfax area still have space?
He is a mid-level player but a q4 bday - looking for a team that plays solid team soccer with all around team players and a friendly atmosphere |

| All clubs are still doing id sessions but once NCSL wraps up, most clubs are going on summer break. You may have 2 weeks at most. Think about a mid-season move or stick around another season. |

Yes. Cause if your kid is good enough, they will give him an offer and drop another kid.

| I would recommend Herndon RL boys. There is a good enviroment for you kid there. |

In our case, they increased the roster size for the new kid and then reduced my kid's playing time, so we had to travel for tournaments and played in only about 15% of the games. Bad experience and left. |

That's the reality of travel soccer in this area. If they can get one extra kid to join, they will do it and shift everyone else around.
