I have an 8pm domestic flight and I’m considering bringing my neck pillow this time; I always fall asleep on flights and wish I had it. At the same time, I feels so ridiculous; it’s a three hour flight. |
Never used a neck pillow. They look stupid. |
It's fine. Just take it. Nothing to be embarrassed about at all. |
Laughing at/ crying for people who eschew comfort because of how it "looks"
JFC, be comfortable. The airlines do everything they can do make us miserable. Think of it as a blow against our corporate overlords (and that loser upthread) |
No one cares how you look on a flight. Seriously. |
No but only because I can’t sleep on planes to save my life. I’d take it if it will help you. I fly a lot and people bring them all the time. Who gives a F what random people think? |
Don’t find them comfortable. Have at home but don’t take them. |
And today's example of crowd sourcing every random thought we have... |
Who cares? Do whatever you want! |
If you don’t mind lugging it around, take it! I envy those who have the ability to sleep on a plane. |
Life's too short to care what others think. Seriously. You don't know them. You'll probably never see them again.
Take the pillow. |
Also, one reminder - no one is looking at you. People only care about themselves. Do what you feel like doing. |
The only time I smile internally at neck pillows are when people wear them around their necks while walking through the airport, as if they're some sort of puffy necklace. But I understand that it frees up space in their carryon. It's just kind of amusing! |
Yes. If it’s a long flight, I bring one of my Bucky pillows. It has never occurred to me to wonder what strangers I’ll likely never see again might find ridiculous. Health and comfort for the win. |
