Did I do something wrong?

Hi Jeff,

I noticed that you deleted my comment in the thread about the US "aggressively revoking" Chinese student visas.

I commented that we were the third largest country in the world by population size, so we had lots of human capital, and if our research and educational systems were truly going to collapse without Chinese students, that certainly signaled that we need to invest more in primary or secondary education.

If that violates board rules, I don't understand how, and thus would appreciate an explanation so I don't commit another violation.

I removed a lot of posts from that thread and you probably quoted one that I removed. In that case, yours would have been removed as well. All those threads in the college forum are getting political and I am having trouble keeping things on track.

Should all the political banter regarding red vs blue states and colleges be reported for deletion?

Generally yes. There is a poster is pretty active about reporting such posts but you are welcome to do so as well.
