Private online accredited schools that MCPS accepts credit from?

Apex learning? Others like this at are accredited and credit accepted from the UC system? Does anyone have experience with this sort of online high school program and then getting credit for the classes from MCPS either for grade improvement or first time taking something? Not asking about geometry which I know has to be taken though MCPS .
