It's in the aisles by the cheese but also close to refrigerated ravioli and such. Thanks for sharing OP. My kids love tofu. I too buy it at Costco.
Our favorite ways of using it are pan fried with a simple soy-miso dipping sauce, and in Thai curry with vegetables (using canned coconut milk and maesri curry paste). |
My daughter actually enjoys eating it raw these days, which is a new development after a decade of eating tofu! We also do some Thai curries and just air-fry, though I should try doing that with some dipping sauces. Another tip - we get a delicious paneer curry from a local Indian place and they always give us so much extra sauce that I just air fry some tofu and get a whole separate extra meal by combining the air fried tofu with the leftover sauce. |
| I like tofu, but it's pretty cheap wherever you shop. I think it was $1.35 per container at Aldi, and around $2 at Giant. So you're not saving more than a couple of dollars a week at Costco. Nothing wrong with buying it there, but not worth a special trip for me. |

Lately, I’m all about soft tofu (cold or steamed) with a simple soy/chili sauce drizzled over and a bunch of veggies (I usually make into “noodles”). It takes like 5/10 min to prepare but is one of those super simple
And delicious things to make. That said, extra firm tofu cubed, lightly seasoned, tossed with cornstarch and air fried (crispy tofu) is my ride or die. |
If you like it raw, tofu “feta” is a great way to prepare it. Plus the cold soft version (chili/soy sauce on top) |

| I like to cube it and bake it until golden and then mix it into things. The baking helps it stay together and absorb more sauce. |
The Costco packages are bigger than the ones at Aldi so you get more bang for your buck. I love it! |
