| The word "interview" is a misnomer. They take a picture, do fingerprints, and confirm your passport/license. They may ask a clarifying question about a country tour traveled to, but that's it. |

Planning to book an appt at Dulles prior to an upcoming trip rather than do it on arrival home. |

Definitely the right way to do it. Book it for say 30-45 minutes before when you would normally arrive, you will be good to go with cushion. |
