I woke up to find mouse droppings on my burners. I went to bed with them clean. Unfortunately this has happened before and we have successfully caught mice with traps. We adopted a cat this winter who sleeps upstairs and apparently is oblivious to this mouse. How do I set traps with our cat who would smell the food and be attracted to it? |
Set up the traps where the cat can’t reach. Under the stove. Under the sink. Behind the dishwasher. Or put the traps in a box.
Not all cats are mousers, unfortunately. |
Put your cat in the kitchen at night and see what happens |
Close your cat in your bedroom tonight and put those mousetraps out with lots of bait. |
