OSSE: Class Scores

When does OSSE publicly post scores from CLASS observations? I’ve been checking and the latest one I saw posted was from 23-24 school year.

Question...what IS a CLASS observation? (I'm new to DCPS and saw it on our ECE schedule)..I teach middle school at a Pre-K-8 school, so I was just curious.

It’s an assessment used in early childhood settings that evaluates the environment to determine how everyone is supported in terms of emotional support, classroom organization, and instructional support.

Does that include the principal, admin, etc. or just the teacher and the aide?

It is just a classroom, lead teacher specific, observation. It does not include admin.

It includes anyone who was in the classroom at any point on the day of the observation.

It means very little in terms of your child’s learning. You’d get a better understanding from GOLD scores but those are not public.
