Where to go for lunch or coffee near the Arboretum?

There’s not much in the immediate vicinity of the arboretum. Within about a 10 minute drive there’s a zekes coffee on Rhode Island Ave and Primrose on 12th St NE has a wonderful brunch, but I’m not sure they’re open on Monday.
The arboretum is also 10 or so minutes from H street, where there are lots of options. You may want to consider bringing a picnic to the arboretum. There are plenty of places to spread out a blanket and eat. |

| There is a warehouse converted into a brewery and a coffee place that are both great. I am blanking on the name! |

| Ivy City Smokehouse is good, so is Other Half Brewery. You are also pretty close to Union Market, home to like a hundred restaurants. |

| There are a few places by Costco, right across NY Avenue. I think there’s a Chipotle, Five Guys, Mezeh and a Japanese place in that complex. |
