Parthenon on Gordon Ramsey’s new show

Anonymous
Anyone watch? I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. We tried it a few years back (post covid, pre car crash) and we didn’t like it but we still ate it. Although it has been apparently cleaner and turned around I don’t know how anyone can eat there knowing there were multiple rats running around their basement food storage. 🤮🤮🤮

Has anyone been there since Ramsey turned them around?

You do understand that this restaurant was inspected by your local government and met safety standards. Those are the same inspectors checking every other restaurant.

My parents love this place. Even if half of what is true as the show probably exaggerated, not a chance I'd eat there. It always looked a bit gross in the pictures. I think rats are probably common in restaurants as its hard not to have them in old buildings with food but the lack of cleaning...

If you don’t want to eat places where there are rats in or around the kitchen, don’t eat in DC.

Yeah, screw the OP. All those restaurants along conn ave have rodent issues. I love the Parthenon and the Lounge. Nice try at a hit job to a small business. A$$hole.

The more concerning issue was the state of the kitchen and storage areas.
