How many new SCOTUS judges during Trump 2.0?

Thomas is 77 and Alito is 76. I have to believe they step aside during Trump 2.0. The wildcard is Sotomayor. She’s 69 but in poor health.

Who cares? The US is going to come apart anyway.

Sotomayor is not in poor health. Certainly not like RBG was.

The prospect of a court including six Trump appointees plus John "Don't FOIA DOGE" Roberts...truly frightening.

Type 1 diabetics diagnosed prior to age 10 can have a lower life expectancy.

Type 1 diabetics can have life expectancies 10-12 years shorter than the general population. The average is 6 years.

Why? These Trump appointees keep voting against Trump, unlike Thomas and Alito.

Imagine 2 more conservative judges in their late 40’s. If Sotomayor is replaced they’ll have ghost gun vending machines in schools by 2030.

She’s diabetic. If that’s why her father died, I’d argue that her compliance with treatment and the availability of much better treatment than existed back then matters a lot.

+1. I didn’t think I’d ever respect her. But, she’s growing on me. Both with her recusal and her pushing back in oral arguments. P
