MLS Next team manager

| DS will be joining an MLS next team next year. Coach has put out an ask for a volunteer for team manager. What all does it entail at that level? |

| We don’t have one. One PP is responsible for the video that goes to Taka. That’s it. Why are team managers even needed? |

Ask the coach who a list of responsibilities for the TM?
Each club is different but for in general and from my experience you are not as involved. |

Team Manager is not really needed as the club will do the scheduling.
I wish they would get rid of our team manager, but she signs up year after year. |

Outsourcing free labor? Agree it shouldn't be necessary when spending $4k, club should provide scheduling and travel resources. |

Our team does not have one either. Nor should there be. I’ve seen enough snake oil from ECNL-side TM’s to last a life time. |

Hahahaaaaa my neighbor is on a team where the team manager is the club owner’s spouse and the stories they tell are hilarious. Made me value our awesome team manager! Cool calm collected, respectful and oh so organized. A gem. |

I would love to and actually make the team fun. But our TM wants to secure her son's playing time, so she volunteers year after year.
