Summer swim team, which one

Both sites have the tryout evaluation on the same night, and I have to pick one to attend.

One site guarantee to get in because they tell me that tryout is more for determinating level. And, I can sign up for both kids due to they also have pre-team for my younger child. This one is more expensive, like $500 more for summer but it is located a bit closer to our home. It seems like they stress on more fun and laid back. There won't be any of our neighborhood kids.

Another one site is more formal, no pre-team for my younger child, and there's a good chance that my older child can't make it to the tryout. This one seems like more real swim team with stores for their gears. I like their pool more. There won't be any of our neighborhood kids.

With or without swim team, they will continue to take learn to swim group lessons and private lesson (for older child) throughout the year. Which one would you pick?

summer swim is supposed to be fun

go with the team that is more fun where your kid can swim in relays and individuals events

Laid back and closer to home. Not even a tough choice.

The one that has programming for both your kids and where the neighborhood friends go. Obvious choice.

Start with cheaper. You can always switch future years.
