So sad. Hyping up children who were raised and brought up by other professionals and taking the credit for it.

Every club does that. Why shouldn’t they?

There is no such thing as a USYNT tryout.

The social media post says “invited to USYNT talent ID center” not tryout.

No one is talking about the social media post idiot. It was in reference to the post above. Man you are dumb.

Good grief I have never seen someone be so forward and rude. I assumed the post was referencing the club's social media post about the players in GA and I was just saying the club did not mention a tryout. You are just down right nasty for name calling in a forum. I was not being rude or nasty at all, I was just stating that the club did not put out the players were invited to a "tryout". Grow Up and be a decent person!

Did these girls come up through Rev or are they FCV transfers?

FCV Transfers but they were FCV under CC and now they're REV under CC

Imagine being duped to pay 4K after uniforms and before tournament expenses to wear a GA2 patch and play glorified NCSL.

Absolute madness.

Nobody was duped they knew they would play EDP just like FCV's GA2 teams played there last year where most of these players came from. There is no GA2 patch. You can calm down, there is no scandal here. Just youth soccer business as usual.

Does GA require clubs to call their 2nd teams "GA2" ?

As far as I know, GA dgaf about GA2. It's just a PR tactic from the clubs. They will continue to recruit for GA from outside no matter who is on their 2nd team. It means absolutely nothing other than we are paying for a GA experience and getting a regular travel experience.

No it's pure club marketing. They could call teams whatever they want.

There are a few clubs with actually two teams that both play in GA. Top Hat in Atlanta for example.

The thinking for calling it GA2 is that clubs hope to have two teams in GA. I'm sure every club would love to make their GA2 into a real GA team. But that requires fielding 2 competitive teams in every age group which is difficult.

What GA experience are you getting? You have different coaches, train separately, and play in a different league.
