Last week if school at JR

DS is a freshman at JR. He is telling us that school will be a joke the week of 6/16. Is there any reason that we should make him go? We were hoping to go see family over father's day weekend and would extend the trip if he is going to be skipping school anyways.

Mine has missed 26 days this year. We just got a letter that he should graduate. His GPA is 4.15 I think. He said 'no child left behind' as I told him that enough is enough. Told him that they should leave him behind as en example.

The last 3-5 days of any public school are a joke…but usually fun.

No reason to make him go but remember to fill out the absence form each day.

Yup, very few kids will be there.

I work at a DCPS elementary school and I have an 10th grader at JR. I'm not making him go if he doesn't want to.
